The German American Chamber of Commerce has announced the German American Smart Building Symposium 2013. The event was cancelled in 2012, due to concerns about Hurricane Sandy passing through the area, but has since been rescheduled for March 13, 2013 in Philadelphia, PA. This event will highlight the latest developments in sustainable building systems and feature experts in the field of energy efficiency. Oliver Baumann, President of Ebert & Baumann Consulting Engineers, will be speaking at the conference about energy efficiency improvements for buildings and how this expertise can be used to develop energy master plans for entire campuses, communities and even cities and counties.
