Baumann Consulting has been selected as one of four finalists for the inaugural year of GACC Midwest’s Energy Efficiency Award Challenge. Baumann’s Integrated Energy Master Plan (IEMP) for the City of Holland, Michigan was selected as an outstanding example of leveraging German innovation to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in commercial buildings.
The Energy Efficiency Award Challenge showcases German excellence in energy efficiency innovation, products, and services focused on increasing overall performance for U.S. commercial buildings. The Energy Efficiency Award Challenge culminates in a live presentation in front of an independent jury of green building experts on April 7, 2016 in Chicago.
