BREEAM USA In-Use is a comprehensive and holistic environmental assessment method for assessing and rating the sustainability of existing, commercial assets located within the United States. A qualified BREEAM Assessor is an individual with the training, experience, authority, and independence to register and competently undertake assessments of projects/assets, determine ratings, and apply for certification from an accredited scheme operator. Assessors are responsible for managing the assessment process and validating a project’s compliance against relevant BREEAM criteria.
This enables Baumann Consulting to drive sustainability improvements in the operational performance of buildings by assessing and delivering BREEAM In-Use certified projects in the USA. As a licensed BREEAM USA In-Use Assessor, Baumann Consulting is able to provide a framework to help owners, managers, and occupiers of existing assets successfully adopt sustainable solutions in a cost-effective manner and provide market recognition for their achievements.
