Eschborn Gate Building A – EU Taxonomy

Baumann Consulting is providing EU-Taxonomy consulting services including a Life Cycle Assessment for Eschborn Gate Building A, which is part of a five-building office campus in Eschborn, Germany.

Eschborn Gate is a modern office complex situated near the city center of Frankfurt. Featuring state-of-the-art office and conferencing spaces, it offers a wide range of amenities and is well-connected to public transportation.

Baumann Consulting not only served as the LEED consultant but is also actively guiding the client in ensuring adherence to the EU taxonomy requirements through verification and documentation processes for Building A. The criteria for sustainable development are aligned to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.

The process includes a mandatory life cycle assessment (LCA) to calculate the CO2 emissions caused by the construction and operation of the building. Baumann performed the LCA and identified ways to reduce CO2 emissions. Baumann also provided material consultancy to support the identification and specification of low-emitting materials and to avoid any substances of very high concern (SVHC).

With Baumann’s expertise, Eschborn Gate is on track to become a shining example of sustainable urban development.
