Calvary Baptist Church

Baumann Consulting developed a prioritized plan for system upgrades and implementation strategies to support the desired performance outcomes of the project.

Since its completion in 1886, the Calvary Baptist Church has stood as a prominent landmark in what is now the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

Baumann Consulting provided comprehensive consulting and engineering services for the renovation of the church, including the replacement of two Trane units and consultation on strategies to enhance the performance of the air handling units and controls. Baumann developed a detailed site survey and assessment of existing conditions for all HVAC systems and controls. This analysis included recommendations for system replacement and upgrade options, including cost estimates and a prioritized plan for implementation strategies. Baumann then informed the design of selected improvements and coordinated all commissioning activities to support the desired performance goals of the project.
