Senior Engineer Kelly Adighije Earns Green Globes Professional (GGP) Certification

Baumann is pleased to announce that Senior Mechanical Engineer Kelly Adighije, CEng MIMechE, LEED AP BD+C has been awarded the Green Globes Professional (GGP) Certification by the Green Building Initiative (GBI).

With this certification, Kelly joins an elite group of industry professionals trained in the Green Globes building assessment and certification process. Certified professionals serve as consultants on Green Globes projects and facilitate the building certification process by providing project management for their clients. Green Globes Personnel Certification Programs support the national adoption and growth of Green Globes by creating, maintaining, and growing a network of contracted individuals trained and authorized to support the assessment and certification process. Green Globes Professionals and Assessors play an important role in supporting building practices that result in energy-efficient, healthy, and environmentally sustainable buildings. Baumann supports Kelly’s efforts to increase awareness and use of the Green Globes standard across the U.S. and looks forward to assisting our clients and partners with the application of these principles to their projects.

Kelly joined Baumann Consulting as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in 2012. He attended the University of Sheffield in England, where he earned his Masters of Mechanical Engineering in 2004. After graduation, Kelly gained project experience at several international companies: Arup and BDSP Partnership in London and PZM Engineering in Zürich, Switzerland. Kelly has extensive international project experience, including work in the UK, U.S., Switzerland, Algeria and the Middle East. His experience includes the planning, design and construction of building mechanical systems with a focus on sustainability. He has been a key contributor on multi-disciplinary design teams and coordinated directly with clients on the delivery of project requirements. In 2009, Kelly was recognized as a Chartered Mechanical Engineer in the UK, the equivalent of the Professional Engineer designation in the U.S. Kelly earned his LEED AP BD+C certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2011 and has expertise with the use of energy simulation software such as eQuest and IES. By earning his GGP certification in April of 2014, Kelly is now listed in the official Green Globes Professional Directory on the GBI website. Baumann congratulates Kelly on his accomplishment and is proud to have his diverse and international experience on the team.
