Baumann Consulting is pleased to announce that our own Meredith Marsh has been elected as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Chapter of the Passive House Alliance U.S. (PHAUS). Meredith has served on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Chapter of PHAUS since January 2013, and received her Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) designation from the Passive House Institute U.S. (PHIUS) earlier this year.

A program of PHIUS, PHAUS provides a chapter/membership structure to support the growing community of passive building professionals in the United States. Through networking opportunities and other forums, PHAUS members connect with one another and with industry representatives. In partnership with PHIUS technical staff, PHAUS provides training opportunities and disseminates technical information and research.

In this role, she provides expertise on a range of projects including international LEED certifications, energy audits, building performance analyses and building enclosure commissioning (BECx) services. Meredith has presented at various conferences and made numerous media appearances as a subject-matter expert on energy efficiency and high-performance building. Meredith’s skillset includes a variety of green building certification systems and standards, including LEED, Passive House and Living Building Challenge. She is an accredited LEED AP BD+C and Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC).
