Meet the Women at Baumann's Washington DC office

Did you know that almost 40% of Baumann Consulting’s employees are female? They are part of our corporate team as Director of Operations & Resources, Corporate Controller, and Marketing Manager, but also occupy technical positions at various levels from entry to expert professionals, and leading teams.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we want to highlight each of the women in our departments for their dedication to helping strengthen our company as we aim to create a carbon-neutral future. At Baumann, we pride ourselves on the diverse team we have built, our broad perspectives and backgrounds allow for an inclusive and efficient work environment for all. The women at Baumann Consulting fill vital positions needed to help our company function effectively, both on-site and on the technical side. 

Part 3 of our Meet the Women at Baumann series will highlight the women of our Washington, DC office who support our administrative, operations, and sustainability teams. We would like to thank Yana Anderson, Ayana May, and Lacey Lott for their support in strengthening our efforts in the Metro-DC area. 

Yana Anderson joined Baumann Consulting in 2022 as a Team Assistant and is an accomplished and experienced team and project management assistant. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Executive Office Administration with a Specialty in C-Level Project Management Assistance.

Ayana May joined Baumann Consulting in 2022 as a Sustainability Consultant with a focus on sustainability building certifications, primarily for office, retail, and hospitality projects. She serves as Emerging Professionals Committee Chair of the USGBC Ohio Southwest Leadership.

Lacey Lott joined Baumann Consulting in 2023 as a Senior Sustainability Consultant and ESG Manager working remotely for our Washington, DC office. She is an accredited LEED AP O+M, WELL AP, Fitwel Ambassador, and BREEAM USA In-Use Assessor and was recently recognized in Mid Atlantic Business Journal’s 30 under 30.
