Frankfurt, June 2014.

Baumann is pleased to announce that Architect and Green Building Consultant Nima Soltani has been awarded the LEED AP O+M Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

With this certification, Nima joins an elite group of green building professionals in the U.S. and around the world who have demonstrated leadership in the field and are active participants in the green building movement who contribute expertise to the design, construction, operations and maintenance of buildings and neighborhoods that save energy, use fewer resources, reduce pollution, and contribute to healthier environments for their occupants and the community.

Nima joined Baumann Consulting’s Green Building and Facility Management Group as an Architect and Green Building Consultant in early 2014. Nima holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Hochschule für angewandtes Wissen und Kunst in Hildesheim, Germany, where he focused on passive building systems and international building regulations. Following the completion of his studies, Nima spent half a year serving as an architect in Australia for Eco Villages Worldwide; a company specialized in the construction of prefabricated housing systems built in bushfire areas. Nima’s project work Down Under also included NABERS and Green Star certifications.

After returning to Germany, Nima worked from 2010 to 2013 as an architect and planner for Gildemeister Energy Solutions in the renewable energy utility supply industry. His work included the planning and design of large-scale photovoltaic park projects in Germany and abroad. Nima has been with Baumann’s Frankfurt office since February of 2014. Baumann congratulates Nima on his accomplishment and is proud to have his diverse experience on the team.
