Denver, CO – June 2, 2014.
We are happy to announce that Dr. Amir Rezaei-Bazkiaei, who joined Baumann as an intern in the Washington, D.C. office in 2012, has rejoined the team as a Building Performance Analyst in our Denver office.
Amir began his graduate studies at the University at Buffalo in January 2009, where he served as the primary research assistant in the Center for Integrated Waste Management (CIWM) in the Environmental Engineering department. This past month, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation, which focused on strategies for enhancing the efficiency of ground source heat pumps by integrating post-consumer product of the tire industry. Amir’s research demonstrates an innovative new approach to integrate waste products with renewable energy systems to improve efficiency and add value to otherwise problematic waste streams.
We congratulate Amir on his accomplishments and look forward to having his knowledge and expertise back on the team.
