This week our own Dr. Annie Marston, founding member of the IBPSA-USA National Capital Regional Region chapter, participated in the Building Technologies Office 2014 peer review program. Annie was selected to review DOE funded projects focused on whole building energy modeling and emerging technologies. The mission of the IBPSA-USA National Capital Regional Region chapter is to bring together organizations from many sectors of the built environment to determine ways that building simulation can help address current energy and indoor environmental quality (IEQ) challenges through education, research, innovation, and advocacy.

The International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) is a non-profit international society of building performance simulation researchers, developers and practitioners, dedicated to improving the built environment; IBPSA-USA is the United States regional affiliate. IBPSA was founded to advance and promote the science of building performance simulation in order to improve the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of new and existing buildings worldwide.
