Travis Black is a Sustainability Consultant for Baumann’s Washington, DC office. He has four years of sustainability experience in commercial real estate, managing LEED EB: O+M, Fitwel, and BREEAM In-Use certifications ranging from high-performing office buildings to industrial distribution centers. Travis was recognized as one of Fitwel’s Top 20 Ambassadors of the Year in 2024 and is a BREEAM In-Use USA Licensed Assessor, while also working towards his LEED AP® in O+M and BD+C.
Prior to joining Baumann, Travis led portfolio scale certifications for class A office buildings in Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and Atlanta, and specialized in establishing positive, long-lasting relationships with a variety of clients. He also graduated from university with dual majors in German Studies and Environment, Sustainability, and Geography with an emphasis on Urban Planning.
