Pushpank Atwadkar is a Commissioning & Energy Engineer for Baumann’s Chicago office. He works on various projects involving commissioning, retro-commissioning, and benchmarking services. His fascination with green and energy-efficient buildings drew him to Baumann Consulting, where he initially joined as a Trainee and transitioned to a full-time employee in 2024.
Pushpank graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and completed his Master’s in Energy Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. While studying for his master’s, he completed a one-year internship at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Energy Resources Centre’s (ERC) – Industrial Assessment Centre (IAC). Through this internship, he gained a better understanding of energy auditing, utility bill analysis, energy savings calculations, and feasibility analysis of a project.
