Pete Dishno joined Baumann Consulting in 2023 as a Senior Commissioning Engineer. In this role, Pete supports Baumann’s commissioning and field engineering.
Pete brings 15 years of experience in quality assurance, functional testing strategies, and management of commissioning activities for a variety of systems and building types. Prior to working at Baumann, Pete had experience working at a mechanical contractor and several high-profile design firms in Chicago. He has served as a Commissioning Authority (CxA) to lead the commissioning process from the design and construction phases through to operation. Pete brings a scientific and methodical approach to building systems from his experience in the engineering, construction, and energy industries. He has a bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology from Purdue University in West Lafayette. Additionally, Pete is a LEED AP and a Qualified Commissioning Provider (QCxP) by the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
