Hesham is a Commissioning Project Engineer based in Baumann’s Washington, DC, office. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from George Mason University. Hesham began his career as a Controls Technician, where he gained hands-on experience with mechanical systems, controls, and building automation. He later transitioned into Commissioning Engineering at an MEP consulting firm, focusing on optimizing building performance and verifying system functionality across a range of project types.
Hesham’s project portfolio spans K-12, healthcare, and multi-family residential buildings. He has worked extensively on energy data verification, EnergyStar certification, and compliance with local code benchmarking requirements. These experiences have strengthened his technical expertise and honed his problem-solving skills in complex, real-world environments.
