Cameron Small is an experienced Commissioning & Energy Engineer at Baumann Consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Sustainable Energy from NIU, which he completed in 2018. Cameron has been actively involved with Illinois Green Alliance (IGA) for over 6 years, including a 4-year tenure on the auxiliary board, dedicating his time to support the mission of decarbonization in the real estate industry.
Prior to joining Baumann, Cameron worked as a Mechanical Engineer on the design side of the industry. He has worked on a variety of design projects ranging from multi-family residential and tenant buildout high rises to fire stations and admin buildings from schematic design to construction administration. Cameron is passionate about designing and engaging in energy-efficient practices with the firm belief that building sustainably serves not only the planet but its inhabitants as well.
