Sustainability Consultant (m/f/d) with a focus on Building Certifications

We are looking for a Sustainability Consultant (m/f/d) for our location in Frankfurt am Main / Home Office with a focus on building certifications.

  • Become part of an internationally and interdisciplinary structured team of engineers, simulation specialists, and architects.
  • Work on exciting and demanding projects in Germany and abroad for private and public clients, covering new construction, revitalization, and existing buildings with a focus on:
    • Green Building / sustainability certifications for DGNB, BNB, and QNG, as well as international systems such as LEED, BREEAM, and WELL.
    • Providing recommendations for sustainable building materials and conducting life cycle assessments (LCA) for buildings.
    • Supporting clients in sustainability consulting, particularly regarding challenges and requirements related to the EU taxonomy.
    • Assisting our technical building services specialists in energy audits, thermal and daylight simulations, and commissioning management for specific construction projects.
    • Preparing reports and protocols in both German and English as part of project work.
    • Actively networking and attending events and trade fairs related to sustainable building, promoting Baumann as a leading company in the field of sustainable and energy-efficient buildings.
    • Supporting marketing activities through blogs, case studies, service descriptions, industry news, and other relevant content.

  • Completed technical studies in the field of architecture/building technology/sustainable construction or a related subject area
  • 3 – 5 years of proven professional experience in the field of sustainability certifications
  • Existing qualification as DGNB consultant/auditor or LEED AP desirable
  • You are very familiar with life cycle assessments for buildings from your own experience or studies
  • Good knowledge of project management for planning and construction projects
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Competence to work in international projects and teams
  • High level of initiative and a clearly structured, results-oriented working style
  • Willingness to travel on business
