Ellen Troyer is Baumann’s Building Performance Analyst / Commissioning & Energy Engineer for Baumann’s Chicago office. She has 6 years of Building Simulation & Mechanical Design experience and knowledge of HVAC systems, eQuest, and IES VE.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Engineering at the University of Dayton with a focus on energy systems and a SEE (Sustainability, Environment, Energy) minor in 2017. Prior to Baumann, she worked at a smaller energy consulting firm in Boston and an MEP design firm, where she received experience in both HVAC design and energy modeling.
