James Brew to Present on BECx at ASHRAE Rocky Mountain Chapter Event

Please join Baumann’s James Brew, Denver office Director and Chief Building Scientist, for a presentation on the building enclosure commissioning (BECx) process during the final installment of the “HVAC on Tap” educational series. Presented by the ASHRAE Rocky Mountain Chapter and YEA (Young Engineers in ASHRAE), the event invites young engineers to enjoy a night of free education, dinner and networking.

James’ session will focus on the science of good design and how to meet the coming demand for envelope commissioning under the new requirements of LEED v4 and supported by the standards from ASHRAE, NIBS, and ASTM. The presentation will take an in-depth look at best-practice strategies and methods for determining performance compliance. This emerging practice area supports the design and development of energy-efficient buildings that are durable, comfortable and inexpensive to operate.
